The Cursed Contract

In the rain-slicked, corrupt city of Belmont, archaeologist Professor Edmund Vane loses a lawsuit against construction magnates Pierce & Allred, who buried an ancient Zalmarian temple under concrete. Stripped of his reputation and hope, Vane steals a forbidden ritual from the very ruins they destroyed. He invokes a spectral entity to exact a justice the courts denied him, only to discover that the primordial force he has awakened demands a far bloodier contract—one that will drag him and the entire city into a pit of unspeakable horror, proving that when law fails, the only justice left is illegal, and even that comes at the cost of one’s soul.
