What the Storm Hid

A century-typhoon devastates the coastal villa of a retired judge in the fictional Asami Republic, leaving a locked-room murder and an intruder caught on site. All forensic evidence is erased by water and wind, transforming a solvable crime into an eternal mystery. A Korean-born novelist trapped in the villa next door begins to reconstruct the truth through fragments of a manuscript, only to find herself walking a labyrinth of words where reality and fiction merge—and where the only escape is to rewrite the story of her own life.
