Kingdom Road Requiem

In the shadow of a landmark environmental justice case, a paralegal obsessing over a mythologized serial killer starts to confuse his own memories with the killer's crimes. As he uncovers suppressed reports about a highway project that buried a marginalized community's history, the boundary between legal fact and hallucinated fiction collapses, revealing that memory is a lying witness who assembles a mosaic of plausible falsehoods from the fragments of what we think we know.
