The Emperor's Erased Crime

In 1931 Tianjin, the abdicated emperor Puyi, humiliated by his consort Wenxiu's public divorce suit for abuse, submits to an experimental memory-erasure procedure offered by a Western neurologist. The treatment succeeds, wiping all recollection of his cruelty. Reborn as an innocent, he encounters Wenxiu's estranged sister Wenshan and falls desperately in love, unaware of her true identity and her meticulously crafted plan for revenge. As fragmented nightmares surface, both are dragged into a psychological labyrinth where guilt, obsession, and erased truths collide, revealing that every heroic legend, including the man who would later be crowned as Kangde, is built upon an abyss of forgotten sins.
