The Drench Requiem

In the decayed city of Harlowe, disgraced ex‑cop turned private investigator Leo Kincaid searches for a missing woman from a brutalist housing project known as The Drench. The trail leads to CarnalVue, an adult tube platform that runs a merciless “creator challenge,” pitting the desperate against each other for micro‑payouts. When the missing woman turns up murdered and more bodies follow, Kincaid uncovers a cycle of survival killing among residents who have sacrificed every moral boundary. He catches the killer, but the platform remains untouchable, and The Drench continues to devour its own. For Kincaid, the victory is hollow: the cage holds one man, while the machine that built the cage grinds on untouched.
